We are 2nd year students currently studying in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. This second year project was assigned to us with the aim of making us think outside the box. We are studying towards an undergraduate degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, but what we tend to forget is that electronics are not only about the next computer or iPhone. Through this report, we further recognize that by combining and applying pre-existing knowledge from different fields of science and engineering, we can discover new insights and breakthroughs in any real-life application.
The topic for this project was suggested to us by Dr. Imad Jaimoukha.
Dr. Jaimoukha is a Senior Lecturer in the Control and Power Group at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London.
